Responsibilities:

• Will lead a diverse organization responsible for technical and quality operations at Juniper’s partner facilities in multiple worldwide geographies including Malaysia, Vietnam, Mexico, and India
• Responsible for budgeting Capex and Opex for quality and technical Operations associated with Juniper manufacturing and process development at all factories worldwide
• Responsible for organization design, team development, and growth.  Drives a high-performance team through continuous mentoring and support of team skills and career development 
• Manages teams working with OEM, JDM, and ODM types of partnerships and designs team appropriate for model at each manufacturing partner
• Leads teams responsible for site-specific Manufacturing Engineering, site-specific Quality Engineering, site-specific Manufacturing test engineering, Global Factory quality, Global Technical process development
• Leads team responsible for supporting New Product development at the factories and effectively transitioning the new product into production while meeting established quality and production targets
• The team works with Manufacturing Partners, Juniper Manufacturing Technical development teams, and commercial teams to develop, maintain and execute worldwide technology and automation roadmaps. 
• Responsible for teams that specify Juniper specific Test and manufacturing equipment 
• Drives partners to ensure capacity at all operations meet Juniper production needs.  Team will specify and procure Juniper specific equipment and consumables as needed
• Organization ensures coordination of Engineering change orders are executed at manufacturing partners
• Team supports and consults on quality and technical operations in Juniper repair facilities including specific repair process development 
• Team develops, manages, and executes the qualification plans of all new manufacturing facilities 
• Drives quality and execution at Juniper Material hubs, and Juniper order fulfillment hubs
• Responsible for driving continuous improvement on key process metrics related to the manufacturing including field performance metrics, manufacturing yield programs, Partner scorecard, and throughput metrics
• Collaborates with Juniper Supply Change Management team and manufacturing partners to ensure technical resources support Juniper’s production and new product introduction schedules including Juniper and partner personnel, training, tools, and equipment. 
• Responsible for representing factory execution and strategic plans to Juniper Executives at specific Quarterly Executive Quarterly business review
• Key leader representing Juniper manufacturing directly to customers and to Juniper customer facing teams
• Plays a key role as a leader in Supply Chain Operations in the APAC region and will collaborate with other regional leaders on key employee events and development opportunities

REQUIREMENTS

• BS in an Engineering Discipline or higher degree with 10+ of management experience in a manufacturing environment (or 15+ years of applicable work experience).  MBA a valued plus for this position.
• A demonstrated deep knowledge of manufacturing complex electronics including that includes SMT, PCBA, ICT, X-Ray, press fit operations, BOX build, functional testing, direct order fulfillment, of 1U configurations through highly configurable slot chassis based systems. 
• A strong background in driving metrics based Quality Management 
• Extended experience leading and setting direction for a diverse set of technical functions
• Experience working with Contract Electronics Manufacturing Environment. 
• Experience working in a global operation that incorporates collaboration and communication across many time zones
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced growth environment, take ownership of issues, initiate action plans, and make effective decisions to obtain resolution.
• Must have excellent English with executive level communications skills, both verbal and written as well as Excellent problem-solving/analytical skills.   
• Solid project management skills.
• Excellent teamwork and influencing skills.
• Ability to travel freely to geographies including China, India, Mexico, and the US.  Travel requirement up to 50%
