Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Community Events Program Manager to lead and execute our large-scale first-party online and offline events, including CreatorCon, World Forums, and Developer Days. This role will focus on delivering high-impact, engaging experiences that drive community growth and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive event strategies that align with community goals and enhance participant experience.
  • Project Management: Oversee all aspects of event planning and execution, including logistics, budget management, vendor coordination, and on-site management.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and community teams to ensure alignment on messaging, goals, and attendee engagement strategies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including speakers, sponsors, and partners, to ensure successful event participation and collaboration.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for events, analyzing feedback and data to continuously improve future initiatives.
  • Content Development: Collaborate with teams to curate relevant and engaging session topics and materials that resonate with community interests and needs.
  • Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct post-event assessments, gathering feedback and insights to inform future events and enhance overall community engagement.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • 8+ years of experience in event planning and management, preferably in the tech industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale events from concept to execution.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with community engagement strategies and tools is a plus.
  • Ability to travel about 20% required for event execution.

FD21

For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $116,600 - $203,900, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs.  Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
