As a key member of the New Customer Acquisition Team, the role of Manager/Sr. Manager, Proprietary Card Acquisition will be responsible for the holistic success of our Consumer and SBS Proprietary Card portfolios across all acquisition channels. They will be asked to evolve our acquisition marketing strategies to unlock new levels of portfolio growth and efficiency for our proprietary card suites.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing, excellent analytical skills, an aptitude towards innovation, and the ability to effectively lead and develop team members. They will require strong collaboration skills, working in close partnership with Acquisition Channel Owners, Product Teams, Brand to drive results.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a talented team, with a focus on driving results, colleague development and engagement.

  • Defining acquisition strategies across Consumer and Commercial Proprietary Products, including offers, target audiences and prospect facing product positioning.

  • Developing and leading multi-channel campaigns and communication strategies to drive the optimal acquisition portfolio mix.

  • Manage the National Apply by Phone strategy for both Consumer and Commercial products with a focus on optimizing processes and finding efficiencies. 

  • Analyzing results and summarizing key findings to drive strategic recommendations.

  • Monitoring the competitive environment to ensure our products are positioned for success in the Canadian market.

Qualifications:

  • Marketing expertise with a passion for innovation.

  • Strong strategic and analytical skills. Proven track record of leading comprehensive strategic reviews, developing recommendations and implementation plans.

  • Desire to collaborate with a demonstrated ability to thrive within a highly matrixed organization.

  • Proven ability to drive results while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong executive presence and proven ability to rally others around a vision.

  • Ability to coach a team and foster an environment that enables colleague development and engagement.
