DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an ATF Team Manager to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Engine Business Unit in Jamestown, NY.

Job Summary:

Supervises the daily activities of a production unit or teams.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Manage daily production activities to ensure team efficiency and target achievement.
  • Oversee team members and maintain housekeeping standards for a productive work environment.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance safety, productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  • Lead projects and assignments to drive team success and operational improvements.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to help team members achieve their tasks and goals.
  • Set clear expectations and responsibilities to ensure team alignment and accountability.
  • Coach and mentor team members to support their development and growth.
  • Maintain production targets by effectively managing team performance and output.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

College, university or equivalent degree required, or equivalent experience required. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Supervisory experience preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Manage the timekeeping system for direct reports to assure work time is correctly recorded and that attendance policies are applied uniformly and correctly.
  • Manage performance and behavior of direct reports through coaching, mentoring, and when needed, through use of the Progressive Discipline Policy.
  • Oversee execution of the daily Production Plan, managing application resources to maximize results.
  • Build productive manager-subordinate relationships with direct reports such that communications are effective along with effective application of policies and procedures.
  • Strong communication skills required. Strong ability to develop and coach staff.
  • Project work- ability to lead a Project group- start to finish.
