Responsibilities: 

  • Develop Test Plans, Strategies, and scheduling of test activity.

  • Create, maintain, and implement Test cases/scripts at any level as required (Unit, Integration, Component Integration, System Integration, Exploratory).
  • Validate and report on test results for software quality improvement.
  • Coordinate "Quality at Every Step" - Involved in the review of the user story backlog and requirements specifications for completeness and weaknesses in function, performance, reliability, scalability, testability, usability, and security and compliance testing, and provides recommendations.
  • Work with Product Owners to prioritize features, maintain documentation and known issues.
  • Reviews progress and make recommendations for areas of opportunities/improvements for automation & tool usage.
  • Maintain a healthy and efficient CI/CD pipeline, drive the strategy and the governance of automation and testing in a CI/CD environment, ensure development pipeline standards for REST api’s, Mobile Apps, Web applications.
  • Looks beyond the obvious for continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Identify and illuminate risks to the whole team when identified at any stage of planning or development.
  • Coordinate with other QAEs to ensure a consistent messaging across the platform as it relates to Quality.
  • Best practices of Defect management, Bug Reporting, Bug-tracking, QA metrics and reports for leadership visibility.
  • Good attitude, communication, willingness to learn and collaborate. Bring a culture of innovation, ideas, and continuous improvement.
  • Challenging status quo, demonstrate risk taking, and implement creative ideas.
  • Defect Fixes, Performance Testing, Regression Testing, Endurance testing.
  • Leads multiple tasks effectively - progresses work in parallel

  • Handles problems and acts on own initiative without being prompted  

 

 Qualifications: 

  • Overall 15+ years of experience of proven experience in quality engineering with a focus to drive Automation and efficiency.

  • Proficient in writing test cases, running functional, API tests, and managing defects.
  • Experienced in support of modern test strategies.
  • Must have demonstrated proficiency and experience in the following tools and technologies (Only Candidates with following must have skills will be considered): 

o   Banking domain experience: Money movement Journey, Add a Bank.

o   Expert level knowledge of FIS Systems: Modern Banking Platform, Profile 7

o   Domian knowledge of end 2 end flow for money movement journeys tracing from Digital banking platform middleware to external systems and data lakes.

o   Test data management for add a bank (Yodlee, MicroDeposit, Bank On File, EWS, Plaid), add a payee journeys.

o   4-5 years' experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) / Behavior Driven Development (BDD) practices, unit testing, functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing, GUI testing, web service testing, and browser compatibility testing

o   Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery environment and platforms, especially Maven and Jenkins.

o   Experienced with modern IDEs, build tools (Gradle/Maven), Docker.

o   Proficient with version control (GIT) and best practices.

o   Proficient in using Bug tracking tools like JIRA, RALLY.

o   Experienced in writing test scripts for performance testing using Jmeter.

o   4-5 years' experience working with API Automation using Postman.

o   5-7 years working in an Agile or SAFe development environment is a plus.

o   Good knowledge of troubleshooting skills and pinpoint the issue.

  • Working Knowledge of following tools and technologies: 

o   Selenium Automation framework

o   Regression Suite integration in CI/CD pipeline.

o   REST APIs Specifications using Swagger 

o   Development Tool Central, XLR, Jenkins 

o   Docker Image creation, Containers, PODs 

o   Open Cloud Deployment and Troubleshooting

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Technical fluency - ability to clearly describe tradeoffs to technical and non- technical audiences alike to help support product decisions. 
  • Highly organized with strong prioritization skills and outstanding written and verbal communication - you are great at research and documenting your learnings. 
  • A bachelor's degree.  

Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
