Location
This is a remote/hybrid position. You can work from home and be located anywhere in Canada, if you are located in Ottawa, Canada we work a hybrid schedule where you will be expected to be in the office 3 days per week.
About the team
The Senior SuccessFactors Specialist, as a fully proficient and seasoned professional with extensive experience in the talent modules of the platform, will apply their skills and expertise in managing, enhancing and governing SuccessFactors. The incumbent will assist with implementing new features and functionality to support global employees and business needs with a focus on talent and performance modules.
The incumbent will thrive on digging into the details, researching, analyzing and organizing timelines and information while collaborating and leading implementation of HR and talent programs leveraging the best value from SuccessFactors. The incumbent will be responsible for managing SuccessFactors requests including implementation, configuration, and testing.
What you will do- Lead the implementation and enhancement of SuccessFactors modules especially Performance & Goals, Succession & Career Development, Job Profile Builder and Mentoring
- Well versed with best practices to leverage the highest value from SuccessFactors modules, delivering an exceptional manager and employee experience
- Able to map As-Is & To-Be processes to align with organizational program and processes
- Collaborate with HR teams to understand their needs and translate them into system roadmaps
- Manage SuccessFactors role base permissions including requests to access sensitive HR data and act as a SPOC for module implementations and enhancements
- Conduct workshops, meetings with HR teams to gather detailed requirements and provide training on system functionalities
- Support governance strategy in partnership with IT, Security, Application Enhancement Partner consultants and business stakeholders
- Manage SAP SuccessFactors releases i.e. review release notes, prepare test scripts, configure, communicate changes to HR leads, etc.
- Troubleshoot and resolve business related issues, as they relate to SuccessFactors
- Collaborate with SAP customer success to discuss support, escalations and functionality
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements
- Stay updated on SuccessFactors releases and new features, evaluating their potential impact and opportunities for optimization.
- A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in fields such as Human Resources, Management and/or Information Technology
- Hands on configuration experience in SuccessFactors modules (primarily Performance & Goal Management, Succession & Career Development, Job Profile Builder, Talent Intelligence Hub with a bonus if you have experience in Employee Central, Onboarding and Compensation & Variable Pay). Certifications would be considered an asset.
- 5-7 years of progressive SuccessFactors experience along with minimum 3 years hands on configuration experience in SuccessFactors Talent modules
- Ability to make a logical or implied connection between facts or disparate pieces of information to arrive at a solution or conclusion, connect the dots and problem solve
- Experience in OpenText, ServiceNow, SF Integration center, and iCIMS isn’t required but would be considered an asset
