What we are looking for:
We are looking for our next Sales Manager Benelux in our Regional Sales Team based in Amsterdam!
You'll focus on intermediary-investors in The Netherlands and (Dutch speaking) Belgium, covering third party distributors like asset managers, private banks and family offices etc. that use funds and ETFs for their client solutions. Adopting a consultative selling expertise.
You will be part of the Benelux distribution team and will have responsibility for your own client base in close cooperation with the regional team and other Invesco teams to deliver our clients a truly phenomenal client experience. You will also closely work with the EMEA ETF sales team.
Among your responsibilities will be:
Selling Invesco’s funds & ETFs to Dutch & Belgium clients and focusing on client retention. Continuously broadening and deepening your client network in these countries and sharing local market intelligence with your manager and team
Building the Invesco brand and reputation of the firm ensuring excellent user experience. In cooperation with the Marketing team and in line with the Benelux business plan, under leadership of the head of Benelux
Using all relevant Invesco resources and systems like the CRM (Salesforce) system
Be a standout colleague; Invesco has a team-based culture and team targets
Actively participate in team meetings; bring in your best ideas, initiate roadshows, join industry events and be the subject matter expert. Being part of the EMEA ETF sales meetings
Work collaboratively with the sales colleagues and the Client Service Team
You'll need to have:
Extensive asset management experience, particularly of the fund industry and ETFs
Large relevant network with clients in The Netherlands & Belgium
Excellent analytical, communication and client facing skills
Native Dutch or Flemish (and business English) speaking is a requirement, French speaking an advantage
Degree or equivalent experience, shown investment knowledge.
Personally interested in economics, investing, financial services and society
Highly organized, methodical, and principled individual with a keen attention to detail and precision
You are a highly motivated self-starter, pro-active with a bold spirit and intrinsically motivated to learn and to further develop yourself
You know how to empower others to help you achieve your goals
