Join Team Amex and let’s lead the way together.As part of the Global Merchant & Network Services group (GMNS), the Network & Acquirer Solutions (NAS) team is at the core of American Express, uniquely positioned to service every business unit and customer across the Enterprise. Each year, we power billions of transactions through our global payments network, serving our Issuing and Acquiring businesses in more than 170 markets worldwide.Partner and Product Enablement (PPE) is part of NAS.

How will you make an impact in this role?

As a Manager within the Partner Enablement team, you will be responsible for leading a team dedicated to onboarding new customers to transact on the American Express Merchant and Partner Networks, as well as deploying new products with existing ones.

You will lead the technical consultancy for network and proprietary acquiring partners.

This includes supporting these customers during their set up, connectivity and certification phases. You will have the opportunity to work with an array of external customers (e.g., acquirers, issuers, point of sale terminal providers, merchants, processors, aggregators, etc.), and internal peers and stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in a Team management /People leadership Role

  • Payment industry and transaction processing knowledge 
  • Proven track record of innovation

  • Project Management experience

  • Technical Consultancy for both network & proprietary partners

Preferred Qualifications

  • Lead teams to ensure the highest level of performance as well as motivate them through coaching, and career planning.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with external business partners and various internal cross functional teams at both technical and business level.

  • Strong relationship management skills to influence without authority, both internally and externally, across multiple international territories, and with different cultural considerations.

  • Intellectual Curiosity and tenacity to push for customer solutions with internal stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to support multiple high-profile projects simultaneously in a fast-paced multi-time zoned environment.

  • Self-motivated, with growth mindset, and results driven oriented. Must have the ability to work without supervision in a matrix organization, demonstrating strong teamwork.
