DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Manufacturing Shop Operations Team Manager to join our team specializing in manufacturing onsite in Columbus, IN.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Team Management : Oversee the daily activities of the production team, ensuring that team members are effectively managed and production targets are met.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work with other departments to recommend and implement improvements in safety, productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  • Project Leadership : Lead projects and work assignments, ensuring that they are completed successfully and on time.
  • Guidance and Feedback : Provide clear guidance and constructive feedback to team members, helping them accomplish tasks and achieve their goals.
  • Coaching and Mentoring : Coach and mentor team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Supervision : Supervise the daily activities of the production unit or teams, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Housekeeping : Maintain a clean and organized work environment, promoting safety and efficiency.
  • Performance Improvement : Continuously seek ways to improve team performance and operational processes, driving overall success.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

  • College, university or equivalent degree required, or equivalent experience required.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

  • Supervisory experience preferred.

Additional Information/Experience:

  • Responsible for the daily management of approximately 50 SHOP employees
  • Performance Management

  • Drive safety culture to improve overall safety of shift.
  • Drive efficiency improvements across assembly line to meet production goals.
  • Work with cross-functional partners to drive accountability and improve performance.
