We’re seeking someone to join our team as an Associate in the Client Onboarding Due Diligence Team within the Firm’s Wealth Management Operations Group to support the execution of the Firm’s Enhanced Due Diligence protocols for new and existing high-risk clients.
In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is an Associate level position level position within the Client Service & Relationship Management, which is responsible for managing internal and external client relationships. We do this by engaging in client service activities, optimizing the client experience, and managing vendor/external business partner relationships.

What you’ll do in the role:
- Execute processes/functions and/or support process management and project efforts, leveraging knowledge of the systems, markets and instruments that influence the team
- Recognize risk in day-to-day processes to draw out the key issues and contribute to process improvements
- Build relationships within team and partner with the Business Units, including Private Bankers, Lending Advisors and Branch Risk Officers, to ensure appropriate client onboarding processes and required due diligence is completed
- Participate in projects and initiatives, aiding in solution formulation with a focus on timely execution
- Partner with US Banks, E*Trade and Wealth Management Business Units to ensure appropriate adherence to EDD processes while providing a positive client experience.
- Ensure the appropriate collection of required information and/or documentation for new and existing clients to effectively support the firm’s Know Your Customer (KYC) program
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the compliance and regulatory frameworks that apply to financial institutions #LI-JO1
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Ability to establish clear goals and priorities, and address non-standard issues within area of expertise with minimal guidance and supervision
- Subject matter expertise in business area supported, client requirements, and ability to ensure control is not compromised to comply with client requests

- Strong knowledge of KYC, Customer Identification Program (CIP), and EDD requirements
- Have 3-5 years of relevant experience with BSA/AML Regulations within the financial services industry, or at a financial services regulator
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- At least 2 years’ relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role

For MD Candidates: Salary range for the position: $50,000-$80,000/Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
