We’re seeking someone to join our team as a SOSS Data & Analytics to deliver insights based on data analysis/reporting solutions to provide transparency and help determine opportunities to optimize Third Party expenses. This position will require a strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and an understanding of the third-party source to pay processes. This candidate is expected to provide reporting deliverables in a fast paced and deadline driven environment.

This is an Associate level position within the Sourcing / Procurement, which is responsible for procurement (e.g., purchasing and supply chain activities), as well as vendor management (e.g., business requirements gathering, sourcing strategy, competitive and market assessments, negotiation, contracting, and relationships associated with outsourced services).

What you’ll do in the role:
• Turn business requirements into solutions that drive meaningful reporting and analysis for stakeholders across Sourcing and the Firm.
• Write complex queries for large volumes of data (joins, functions, sub queries, etc.).
• Become a subject matter expert on the data model/structure to perform meaningful analysis and apply it to business needs.
• Create and edit SQL stored procedures/views to generate the KPIs and metrics required by leadership.
• Develop, modify and maintain visualizations and dashboards.
• Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis; investigate discrepancies and gaps for issues arising from code errors, failing data connections or source system data quality.
• Work with end users for any ad hoc requests or modifications to existing reporting solutions and dashboards.
• Monitor a healthy pipeline of deliverables to ensure they are correctly prioritized and completed on time.
• Work with stakeholders for any ad hoc data requests or modifications to existing reporting solutions and dashboards .
• Leverage technology-based skillset and business acumen to find and create efficiencies while delivering effective reporting & analytics
What you’ll bring to the role:
• At least 4 years' relevant experience in a professional setting with a strong focus on reporting and data analytics.
• Experience of collecting, analyzing and synthesizing large and complex datasets.
• Advanced Microsoft Office Skills; PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, slicers, data connections, macros).
• Client management and teamwork skills: Demonstrated ability in being flexible and working with end users and colleagues.
• Understanding/interest in how AI solutions can enhance/optimize data practices.
• Ability to create practical and comprehensive implementation plans and partner with Technology to test and introduce system changes and enhancements that impact the reporting environment.
