09The Team: The FIG Product Management team is responsible for the data, analytics and workflow solutions for clients focused on the financial institutions sector. This team works with all client segments and internal stakeholders to deliver product enhancements and the go to market strategy that supports our best in class FIG product.
The Impact: This role will be responsible for supporting the development and product build out of an industry-leading FIG offering. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to develop business requirements, deliver product enhancements, build client templates, and support the FIG offering in the market with focus on insurance and insurance analytics available on the Market Intelligence platform.

Responsibilities:
In this role, you will support the growth of the FIG product offering across all our delivery channels, by contributing to the product roadmap, capturing and prioritizing requirements, and helping define the go-to-market strategy. Key activities include:
- Take full ownership of technology scrum teams to progress product development in a SAFe / Agile framework and lead critical projects for the business
- Become a subject matter expert to assist commercial and our clients with respect to FIG data and workflows, with a focus on insurance
- Analyze and incorporate client feedback to drive product enhancements
- Create user stories, wireframes, and function as product owner on agile scrum teams
- Partnering with key internal stakeholders (e.g., Insight, Product Operations, Modeling, etc.) to create valuable FIG-focused content and tools, including thought leadership, webinars, models, and more
- Execution of critical projects, including annual data loads, client migrations, and product testing
- Creating release notes and conducting release trainings for FIG and Insurance enhancements
What We’re Looking For:
- BA/BS in finance, business mathematics, technology, or other related field
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, define and deliver on key initiatives
- Knowledge of agile and scrum methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of the financial sector with a focus on the insurance and banking industries
- History of working well in a group setting and proven ability to deliver results
- Uses conceptual and innovative thinking (i.e., identifying new/different solutions) to solve issues. Looks beyond immediate problems for wider implications and determines best path forward.
- Knowledge of financial institutions with a focus on insurance companies and Insurance data offerings
- Strong Excel and VBA skills
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL and BDLC (Business Development Life Cycle)
