Job Details

We are looking for a talented Engine Field Service Technician to join our team specializing in Service for Cummins in Dordrecht, The Netherlands.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • You visit our customers on-site to perform service work.
  • Conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs on Cummins applications.
  • After a thorough training period, participate in the on-call service for emergencies.
  • Diagnose and perform repairs using mechanical and electronic tools according to established procedures and instructions.
  • Escalate and collaborate in the resolution of complex issues as part of a team.
  • Accurately document the work performed and related documents such as work orders and time registration.
  • Take care of your service vehicle and tools.
  • Comply with applicable safety regulations and environmental rules, perform safety checks prior to starting work, and report unsafe situations.

Qualifications

Education/ Experience:

  • A technical vocational (MBO) diploma or willingness to pursue a Diesel Technology course. Affinity with engine technology/mechanical engineering.
  • Experience in a field service role is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Customer-friendliness, professionalism, and craftsmanship are core values in this role.
  • An electrical, electromechanical, or mechatronics background is beneficial.
  • A valid driver’s license (Category B).
  • A problem-solving mindset, strong communication skills, and a customer-oriented approach.
  • You speak and write in Dutch and have basic knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written.
  • You are willing to travel within the Netherlands and occasionally internationally (90 percent of your time is spent on-site).
