Our team

We are a highly motivated and extremely collegial investment management team that handles a very diverse real estate portfolio in Germany, the Netherlands and Austria. We have combined our transaction and asset-management activities in a joint team, that is driven by one common goal, to drive out-performance of regional assets under management. In this productive environment, it is possible to work on different asset classes, which are also in different life cycle phases. That means we oversee developments, which are usually managed by external project partners, existing properties that are in different rental phases through to properties that offer benefit potential and are therefore subject to repositioning.

We are flexible, open to new markets and project approaches, and strives at all times to recognize the potential of investments and to use them together with other partners such as transaction and fund management. The team is communicative with a very close internal exchange and confident in external communication. The topic of ESG is particularly meaningful to us, as we can make a major contribution to a positive climate development with our properties in the medium to long term

Your role

We are looking for our next (Senior) Associate with focus on Asset Management to join our Investment Management team based in Munich!

You will be responsible to identify, analyse and implement asset management initiatives to improve the value and performance of properties under management for selected assets.

You'll have two sets of responsibilities:

  • Management of assigned assets incl. Improving financial data analysis to optimize investment returns

  • Financial analysis and data management for other properties in the regional portfolio.


What we are we looking for:

Asset related activities:

  • Drive strategic asset management initiatives to improve performance of assets ranging from Core to High Returning Strategies, by preparing/ implementing efficient business strategy

  • Develop a full understanding of the key performance drivers for each allocated asset

  • Coordinate the CAPEX / refurbishments initiatives and implementation of ESG strategies

  • Develop and maintain the relationships with key tenants and other key partners incl. property managers, brokers, development partners or other third-parties

Financial Analysis & Data Management:

  • Prepare financial analysis / cash-flows for different assets incl. scenario calculations and sensitivities in Excel / Argus and create Annual Business Plans

  • Prepare input for and review performance analysis: NOI / CAPEX / valuations/ financial returns and deliver relevant data for the purpose of MSCI reporting or comparable benchmarks

  • Manage provision of all necessary data for the valuation purposes and for external financing purpose as well as for data-rooms and ensure ingoing data-validation

  • Support the preparation of investment memos, strategy papers and other presentations

  • Handle the input for the ESG database in Deepki and review completeness on a regular basis

  • Work with the transaction team on underwriting/ review of due diligence reports and support the on/off boarding of assets at acquisition / disposition

What you can bring:

  • Professional real estate investment advisory/ asset management experience, ideally in a Real Estate fund, private equity, agency, consultant or development role in the German real estate market

  • Experience in repositioning & development of projects desirable

  • Know-how of different commercial asset classes (office, retail, residential and logistics) and in different asset-strategies (core, core plus, value add) desirable

  • Excellent analytical abilities and financial modelling skills to analyze, evaluate, recommend, and implement appropriate asset strategies and investment decisions.

  • Understanding of ESG initiatives: Net Zero / CRREM/ CO2 optimization

  • Team-player with good interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships in an international environment

  • Eloquent with excellent communication skills and the ability to explain and articulate investment performance and strategy

  • Numerate and accurate with a strong attention to detail

  • Ability to handle several parallel projects and unanticipated priorities

  • Proficient in German and English
