The role: HR Generalist, Academy SOAR Returnship Program

As part of our Returnship Program (SOAR), we are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our team as HR Operations Specialist. This role plays a crucial role in managing HR operations and improving employee engagement strategies. You will help foster a positive work culture while supporting our organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the onboarding process for new employees, including preboarding activities such as drafting employment contracts and background checks, as well as onboarding activities such as orientation and training.
  • Manage HR data, including employee personal information and HRIS data entry and management.Track performance management, reporting, and quality control.
  • Manage employee satisfaction surveys, collecting and analyzing data to provide actionable insights.
  • Manage the benefits package, communicating benefits, and responding to employee questions.
  • Manage salary adjustments and ensure all employees are paid accurately and on time.
  • Prepare data for payroll processing and manage relationships with payroll partners.
  • Manage the employee offboarding process, including exit interviews.
  • Respond to employee questions and ensure the knowledge base and self-service updates are current.

What we want to see from you:

Career break: You have taken a career break for at least 6 months (e.g. family commitments, personal reasons, sabbatical, etc.) and are now looking to return to the job market.
Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English (mandatory). Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and present ideas clearly.
Professional Background: Minimum 3 years of experience in HR operations or related roles.
Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
Learning Ability: Ability to quickly learn new concepts, technologies and tools.
Self-motivation: Proactive and driven to succeed. Demonstrate a strong work ethic, resilience and a growth mindset.

Skills:

* Experience with HRIS management and data analytics.

* Knowledge of HR compliance and employment laws.

* Experience with managing employee benefits and payroll processes.

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
