Job Duties and Qualifications

 

  • Responsible for performing task and activities in supporting the Sustainability Reporting annual requirements.
  • Have Halliburton operational field knowledge to assist in calculation of our annual emissions calculations and audit assurance, work with subject matter experts (SME) in preparing methodologies and build workpapers for these activities.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of and research findings regarding regulatory changes, accounting literature, trends, and measurement and technical issues relevant to environmental sustainability requirements (GHG emissions, GRI, TCFD, SASB, and future knowledge around SEC, CSRD, and ISSB requirements coming in near future).
  • Responsible for preparation, review, and accuracy of Sustainability Reporting activities within the department, including deadline adherence, reviewing, and updating business practices, performing internal control self-assessments, business analysis, and performing ongoing process improvements.
  • Work with subject matter experts (SME) in preparing methodologies for key performance indicators (KPI) for the Annual Sustainability Report and future reporting obligations.
  • Support Halliburton in driving the education, communication, and implementation of the Sustainability Reporting requirements across the company.
  • Responsible for interpreting and applying company policy, controls, and accounting principles as it relates to Sustainability Reporting.
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge in aspects of internal controls and risk mitigation, company policy, financial analysis and financial applications of varying complexity, as well as advanced levels of proficiency with industry and company acumen.
  • Demonstrates advanced functionality of common office environment and relevant business applications.
  • Requires completion of an undergraduate degree in accounting, business, engineering or other related field and a minimum of three (3) years of experience.
