The Corporate Securities Group of the General Counsel’s Organization is seeking a Manager & Counsel to advise on corporate securities and transactional matters.

Here’s just some of what you will do in this role:

  • Provide legal and strategic counsel on a wide range of corporate transactions and disclosure issues

  • Support the company’s disclosures and investor communications
  • Advise on capital markets transactions, investments and financings, including asset-backed securitizations and credit facilities 
  • Draft and review agreements and governance documents
  • Manage processes for regulatory filings and securities law compliance
  • Monitor securities law and industry developments
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the General Counsel’s Organization and across the enterprise

Skills and Qualifications:

  • J.D. with admission to practice law in New York

  • 3+ years' work experience in a law firm or in-house corporate legal department in one or more of the following practices: securities, capital markets, structured finance, corporate finance

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal matters clearly and concisely to non-specialists

  • Interest in developing a deep understanding of business needs and objectives with a close partnership with business clients

  • Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills and ability to work well in cross-functional team settings 

  • Ability to manage and prioritize competing demands while maintaining high attention to detail and meeting deadlines 

  • Willingness and flexibility to be a team player and take on new responsibilities and challenges

Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits

The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
