The Impact:
We are seeking an experienced Performance Test Engineer to join our quality team. The candidate must have good understanding using performance testing methods on cloud-based applications. This position requires a resource with excellent communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as experience with Performance Testing frameworks.
The best candidate will show an ability to create Performance Testing frameworks and script blueprints with best practices implemented that can be shared across the teams. Demonstratable knowledge of SQL, JMeter, DB Profiling tools is expected.

Responsibilities:
- Help us create an end-to-end Framework to encompass all the dimensions of Non-Functional testing.
- Implement a performance test framework using JMeter. Own and manage performance test environment.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in performance testing and non-functional testing methodologies.
- Understand non-functional requirements (Stress, Spike, Capacity, load, and scalability), develop performance test scripts, follow test plan schedule and scope.
- Run performance tests on the application under test. Report defects and performance KPIs as part of the performance test report.
- Provide feedback on process improvement when there’s an opportunity and strive to apply testing best practices in the performance test.
- Experience in testing high-volume web and batch-based transaction enterprise applications.
- Experience in setup and management of test environments on different platforms (Windows/ Unix).
- Good understanding of troubleshooting performance issues encountered during performance testing.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in performance testing and non-functional testing methodologies
- Collaborate with development, QA, and business teams to identify performance bottlenecks and drive the implementation of performance tuning and optimization solutions.
- Conduct load testing, stress testing, scalability testing, and endurance testing to assess the system's ability to handle high volumes of traffic and data.
- Establish performance benchmarks and baselines for different environments and configurations.
- Report and communicate performance testing results, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management and technical teams
- Works with the different project stakeholders to help define and document performance SLAs, requirements, and expectations around critical factors such as response time, throughput, transactions/second, concurrent users, CPU utilization, memory, disk, network utilization, thread counts, connection pooling, hit ratios.
- Develops data-driven test scripts and execute performance and load testing of the applications.
- Review the performance test scripts created or modified by peers to ensure compliance with standards.
- Experience using Git, TeamCity, and Grafana, etc.
- Ability to interpret Network/system diagram, results of performance tests and identify improvements.
- Understand business scenarios in depth to define workload modelling for different scenarios
- Knowledge of containers and microservice API Testing
- Able to accurately analyze performance test results and present analysis in both technical and business language
- What We’re Looking For:
- Education level – Engineering Graduate
- Year of Experience. – 8 to 12 years
- Experience with Azure DevOps and working with Agile teams
- Specific skills –
- Technologies: C# .NET, .NET Core, Angular, JavaScript, PowerShell, YAML, REST, GIT
- Automation: Selenium, Webdriver.io, Spec Flow, Appvance
- Tools: JMeter, Blazemeter, Lighthouse, WebPagetest , Containers.
- Strong understanding and hands on exposure required on different types of non-functional testing like Performance (Load, Stress, Scalability etc.), Security, Usability, Compatibility, Reliability, Failover, Scalability, Usability, Accessibility
- Good to have skills.
- Fair understanding of AWS (Amazon Web Services) services like S3 Buckets, EC2, Lambda, Cloud Formation, AMIs etc.
- Exposure to BFSI Domain.
- Key Soft Skills
