SoftwareOne is seeking a VMware Architect to join our Technology Services team, playing a critical role in driving the success of our virtualization projects. As part of the Technology Services (TS) practice, you’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing large-scale VMware projects. This senior-level role requires a consultant with extensive experience in VMware environments, infrastructure, licensing, and TCO consulting, focused on ensuring the quality and consistency of our services by following standardized methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement hybrid vSphere architectures, delivering end-to-end virtualization solutions.
• Advise clients through each project phase, providing expertise on best practices and implementation.
• Design, implement, and manage complex VMware-based infrastructures, including virtualization, storage, networking, and security.
• Develop and maintain VMware architecture strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within VMware environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless VMware solution integration.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest VMware advancements and industry best practices.

Focus on Cloud and Hybrid Environments:

• Design and optimize hybrid cloud solutions using VMware technologies to maximize performance and cost-effectiveness.
