The U.S. Consumer Services and Enterprise Digital & Data Technology Team brings together foundational strategic technology capabilities in digital experience engineering (Mobile and Web), AI/ML, marketing technology, enterprise communications, travel and lifestyle, and automation, grounded in our data technology model that prioritizes data governance. It employs a ground-breaking focus with development responsibilities for customer-facing capabilities that deepen and expand digital engagement, as well as core technical capabilities that cut across business lines and customer segments.
We're looking for a Senior iOS Software Engineer to help us continue to build the next generation restaurant booking system, already trusted by thousands of businesses from world-class restaurants such as Alinea, Next and The French Laundry to local neighborhood mainstays.
The iOS engineer will have a track record of building mobile applications that solve real problems for users in ways that only a mobile app can. You will work on a small, independent iOS team in collaboration with teams representing our web-based app to allow our iOS apps to maintain feature parity with the web as well as building innovative mobile-only apps. We are a small team so there's a great opportunity for you to make a difference.
This is a full time role with a hybrid work model - 3 days a week in either the NYC or Chicago office
You'll Get To...- Develop modern, native apps using SwiftUI and The Composable Architecture, with REST and GraphQL for server communication.
- Collaborate with designers, product leadership, and other teams to craft new features for our business customers and their guests.
- Contribute to a vibrant and forward-looking engineering team, shaping technical direction and culture across the entire organization.
- 5+ years of experience building modular, testable iOS applications
- A demonstrated ability to get things done on a small team while maintaining high standards of quality
- An orientation towards learning and growing as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, both in keeping larger teams aware of their work on an ongoing basis and in resolving conflicts efficiently
- Demonstrated ability to experiment and use data to guide decision-making
- Expertise in Swift, SwiftUI and The Composable Architecture (or other reducer-based architectures) is a strong plus
Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
