Function Description:
Global Risk & Compliance Organization (GRC) ensures that the company operates in a safe, sound and fully compliant manner within all applicable regulatory expectations. We create, establish, and maintain the overall risk management framework while ensuring legal and regulatory compliance. Global Risk and Compliance is comprised of six organizations: Global Compliance and Ethics (GCE), Enterprise Risk Management & Risk Oversight (ERMRO), Credit Risk Review, Model Risk Management, Transaction Monitoring & Risk Capabilities (CMRC), Regulatory Exam Lifecycle Management (RELM), Operational Risk Management (ORM) and  Transformation Project Management Office (PMO).

The GRC OpEx CoE team is focused on creating consistent & standardized Financial/Opex management processes for GRC leaders and will lead end-to-end financial forecast, reporting and management of GRC OpEx in close partnership with Finance. This includes creating self-service reporting dashboards for financial and HC reporting, which can be leveraged across all stakeholders + Exec office, CEG, Finance etc. The Analyst will report to the Director, GRC OpEx CoE


Purpose of the Role:

Highly skilled Tableau Developer to leverage the data analytics, visualization and data simulation capabilities of Tableau. This role will support GRC OpEx CoE team to design and develop self-servicing reporting dashboard for GRC Leadership. The Tableau Developer will upscale the existing performance dashboards and will partner with stakeholders to provide interactive and innovative Tableau and automated solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • To be successful in this role, you should have a broad understanding financial data and the ability to quickly develop customized Tableau solutions to provide data analysis and insights to the business.
  • Work with key stakeholders to understand their data analytics & visualization requirements

  • Work as Subject Matter Expert to develop Tableau capabilities to enhance Opex Reporting 

  • Design and Deliver a Tableau solution to weave a story with available data - What is the objective behind the visualization? What are the different ways the data should be looked at to infer insights?

  • Understand business drivers & contribute to continuous improvement by expanding on our reporting capabilities through automation, consolidation of metrics / parameters, incorporating intuitive    analysis and recommendation or by creating new intuitive technologies etc. by leveraging information using different tools to create reporting solutions

  • Support in-house projects with system knowledge to support in development of relevant reporting of Financial Statements with technological attributes/advancement
  • Ensure that all deadlines are continually met, and adequate controls are maintained over the processes to ensure integrity of the information

  • Stakeholder relationship management
  • Ability to work across multiple time zones
  • Participate and contribute to the planning & forecasting process as required

Minimum Qualification:

  • Expert at bringing data from different data sources into the visualization tool e.g. flat files, internet, database connections, etc.     
  • Strong innovative & creating thinking      
  • Able to work with large and cross-functional team
  • Develop, implement & maintain intelligent automated solutions for forecasting through enterprise technologies such as TM1
  • Leverage functional knowledge to identify the appropriate business drivers impacting the outcomes in financial planning & Investment management including scenario & sensitivity capabilities 

Past Experience:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop Certified Professional, Tableau Developer, Tableau Prep, SQL, Python etc.

Academic Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or related fields

     

Functional Skills/Capabilities:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Understanding of financial domain

  • Exceptional analytical thinking with experience of working in a global environment

Knowledge of Platforms:

  • Knowledge of Tableau, SQL, Python, ML

Technical Skills/Capabilities:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop Certified Professional, Tableau Developer, Tableau Prep, SQL, Python, ML etc.
  • Should have technical bend of mind
  • Data Interpretation, visualization and reporting

Preferred Qualification:

  •  Basic understanding of SQL/Database management will be preferred
  •  Proven ability to learn new skills in a technical environment – basic technology background is an added advantage
