Major Account Manager - Enterprise Named Accounts
Position Overview: The Account Manager will manage and grow relationships with enterprise named accounts in the manufacturing and real estate sectors. This role focuses on selling Enterprise Networking Solutions by approaching end customers directly and working through channel partners for final sales execution. The candidate will develop strategic account plans, drive sales growth, and ensure customer satisfaction for designated named accounts. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and partners is essential to provide tailored solutions and achieve both short-term and long-term business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management:
- Manage a portfolio of named enterprise accounts in the manufacturing and real estate sectors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers within client organizations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, requests, and issue resolution.
- Sales and Business Development:
- Promote and sell Enterprise Networking and Security Solutions to clients in the manufacturing and real estate sectors.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts to drive sales growth.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
- Collaborate with sales teams to create customized proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.
- Partner Collaboration:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners to facilitate the sales process.
- Work closely with partners to develop joint business plans, marketing strategies, and sales activities.
- Coordinate with partners to ensure seamless execution of sales transactions, support, and delivery to end customers.
- Provide training, resources, and support to partners to enhance their ability to sell Enterprise Networking and Security Solutions effectively.
- Customer Engagement and Satisfaction:
- Engage directly with end customers to understand their needs, challenges, and requirements.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering outstanding service and support.
- Conduct regular business reviews to assess client needs, satisfaction, and areas for improvement.
- Address client concerns promptly and effectively to maintain strong client relationships.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to deliver comprehensive Enterprise Networking Solutions to clients.
- Provide insights and feedback from clients and partners to help shape product development and service offerings.
- Market and Industry Analysis:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics within the manufacturing and real estate sectors.
- Use industry insights to identify growth opportunities and provide strategic recommendations to clients and partners.
- Enterprise Networking Expertise:
- Understand and communicate the value of Enterprise Networking Solutions, including network infrastructure, security, and cloud integration.
- Collaborate with technical teams to design and propose solutions that align with client needs and industry standards.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in Enterprise Networking technology and best practices.
- Reporting and Performance Tracking:
- Maintain accurate records of account activities, sales progress, and forecasts using CRM tools.
- Prepare regular reports on account performance, sales metrics, and client feedback.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Account Manager or similar role in B2B sales, with a focus on Enterprise Networking or Security Solutions.
- Strong understanding of networking solutions, including network infrastructure, security, and cloud integration.
- Experience working with and through channel partners to drive sales.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client and partner relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
