What you will do
- As an Associate Field Service Representative, you are responsible for supporting a service territory and for the repair and delivery of equipment
- You will perform all required quality control checks and preventative maintenance, global hold repairs, and wireless upgrades
- With great attention to detail, you will utilize computer software to complete documentation, order parts, reference training materials, and more
- You will present the highest level of customer etiquette in support of the sales team, and promote increased equipment and service usage by establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships
- While working mostly independently, you will also engage in opportunities to support and collaborate with teammates across the business, including assisting on Field Service projects and initiatives
- You are expected to adhere to and maintain excellent Field Service metrics; not limited to but including hours and overtime accountability, inventory accuracy, cadence of documentation, etc.
What you need: our requirements
- High School diploma required
- Must be 21 years of age and possess valid driver license in the state of residence with a good driving record as you will operate a company vehicle, while abiding by company policy
- Basic electronic and mechanical aptitude
- Willingness and ability to work an extended work week including nights and weekends at times
Physical requirements
- Must move, set up and demonstrate equipment weighing up to 75 pounds
- Must reach, push, or pull in order to accomplish job duties
- Will involve prolonged periods of stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting, standing, and/or crawling as appropriate
- Must have coordination of the eye, hand and foot movement with an ability to grasp by hand
- May handle various materials including but limited to: durcot fabric, nylon fabric, Velcro, zippers, product components comprised of rubber, metals and coated products
Cognitive requirements
- Ability to follow and explain detailed instruction, operation manuals, troubleshooting and inspection procedures
- Must have visual and auditory discrimination / memory, reading ability and memory retention
- Diagnose issues and systematically solve problems
- Strong interpersonal communication skills specifically relating to customer interactions, stress management and conflict management
- Exercise discretion and independence when applying professional expertise
- Must be able to possess written and oral communication, including talking in group meeting settings
- Must be able to work with autonomy, managing time and seeing tasks through to completion with minimal supervision
- Must have the ability to prioritize work and keep detailed and accurate records
- Must possess unwavering ethics & integrity in a competitive and demanding work environment
