The Growth & Engagement Marketing team leverages the latest martech and digital strategies to connect client needs with our capabilities. We aim to enhance and improve our client’s experience and buying journey across all our digital touchpoints, using multi-market campaigns and innovative channel activation to achieve commercial results.
Your Role :
The Digital Activation, Associate Director will evolve and deliver on our paid media strategy across North America and EMEA to demonstrate ROI on marketing budget and ensure Invesco’s visibility in the digital space supports our brand and product offerings in a client-centric way. The Digital Activation, Associate Director will also bring expertise in delivering a channel mix that uses a data-driven approach, razor-sharp segmentation, smart channel tactics, an omnichannel mindset, and advanced marketing technologies to drive demand generation, client engagement, and commercial impact in a regulated B2B environment.
What you will be doing:
Owning, evolving and executing our paid media strategy with the aim to effectively deliver measurable impact with key audiences by leveraging expert segmentation and targeting in all our paid media channels across the funnel.
Maximizing overall engagement and commercial performance across social, paid search, programmatic, display, and native channels, as well as within our overall media plan, leveraging key tactics like cross-selling, ABM, retargeting, and personalization.
Leading a team of channel specialists day-to-day to roll out the paid media strategy through marketing activities, as well as supporting their development within the business and their individual goals and ambitions.
Managing a global agency partner, ensuring their consultation, recommendations and activation of channel activities bring an additional layer of competitive insights and innovative tactics to complement our internal strategies.
Partnering with segment and market experts, as well as other marketing teams like content, brand, email, and automation to ensure channel strategies are aligned to broader marketing objectives and client experiences.
Driving a data and analytics focused approach, in partnership with the analytics team, to develop and deliver in-depth channel reporting, analysis and insights, along with a robust test and learn program, to ensure channels are delivering on broader marketing objectives.
Ensuring spend forecasting and budgeting for all channel activities are managed effectively, regularly optimized, and properly invoiced and paid.
What you will bring:
Proven experience driving strategic results in multichannel campaigns and activities across a variety of paid media platforms and regions, with an emphasis on personalized and automated client experiences across all channels and stages of the journey
Experience in educating & promoting the value of paid media across a broad range of non-marketing stakeholders, generous with knowledge & time and to educate the business on subject matter expert topics
Broad understanding of multi-channel marketing campaign best practices and a mindset for innovation & problem-solving
Strong knowledge of reporting, targeting and tracking capabilities across paid media in an aim to reach the right audience, at the right time with the right message, while leveraging actionable insights to evolve best practices
Strong knowledge of digital media platforms and tools across all channels
Strong people management experience, preferably with an international team
Curious with a passion to stay up to date on digital marketing strategies, best practices, and the competitive landscape
Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills in English, particularly the ability to synthesize complex issues or scenarios into easy-to-understand concepts and communicate to a variety of stakeholders (additional European languages a plus)
Intrinsic collaborative, consultative and change management skills
