How will you make an impact in this role?
- Relationship Management: Develop data tools & insights for the GCG Client Management Group in APAC to support renegotiations, business reviews and business development opportunities defending our Premium Value Proposition in an impactful way
- Business Development: Lead strategic partnerships with merchants in close collaboration with the Marketing team engaging existing & new partners to drive revenue growth through Amex Offers
- Consultative Selling: Build a pipeline of opportunities & deliver compelling Business Insights proposals to drive business growth
- Data & Insights: Own end-to-end insights project planning, delivery, and measurement. Transform raw data into insights led commercial presentations to executives at merchant partners & internal stakeholders.
- Data Product Development: Identification and creation of customized and automated data tools in close collaboration with the Global Merchant Analytics team
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong business development experience and/or partner management experience, including a track record of success in building new and nurturing existing relationships with internal and external clients that drive commercial outcomes
- Strategic thinker with a consultative sales approach
- Effective quantitative skills that enable the analysis of data sets and generation of actionable recommendations with measurable value
- Strong communication skills and executive presence with the ability to probe/diagnose merchant needs and propose real-time customized solutions across all levels of the organization, internally and externally
- Strong problem solving, project management, analytical and presentation skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize across a portfolio of clients and projects, with high attention to detail
- Ability to innovate and openly share insights and new ideas
- Advanced degree in statistics, mathematics, operations research, economics, engineering or equivalent preferred
