Job Summary:
Responsible for the preparation of complex and interpretive financial analyses and reports. Supports the annual budget process, expense and/or staffing forecasts and statistical reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Financial Analyst, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Complex Financial Analyses : By preparing complex financial analyses for department management, you will provide valuable insights that can guide decision-making processes.
- Reporting : Your preparation of analyses, reports, and special studies for management will ensure that key stakeholders are informed about the financial status and progress of the organization.
- Budgeting : Partnering with organizational units to develop annual budgets will help to ensure financial efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
- Forecasting : Your role in developing expense and staffing forecasts will provide a roadmap for the organization’s future, helping to guide strategic planning.
- Statistical Reporting : Preparing and consolidating financial data for statistical reporting will provide a clear and accurate picture of the organization’s financial health.
- Financial Performance Analysis : Your work in preparing financial performance reports, including variance explanations and cost analysis, will help to identify areas of strength and opportunities for improvement.
- Consolidation of Financial Data : By consolidating financial data, you will make it easier for stakeholders to understand the overall financial situation, aiding in decision-making processes.
- Mentorship : Coaching or leading less-experienced Financial Analysts will help to build a stronger, more knowledgeable finance team, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.

- Financial Reporting - Analyzes financial data by evaluating results and solutions to support business decisions; prepares and presents financial information by summarizing data to communicate results in compliance with regulations and stakeholder expectations; partners with stakeholders to drive financial performance that aligns to organizational goals and strategies.
- US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles - Evaluates US accounting standards to record transactions in compliance with requirements and company policies; assesses the accounting requirements and objectives to determine the implications on the business and communicate to stakeholders with varying financial knowledge.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required.
- Progress toward Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant or similar certification preferred.
Experience:
- Intermediate level of relevant professional work experience in the field of study required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Monitor accounts payable balances and assure prompt payment of invoices.
- Analyze and forecast direct material variance impact to the financials.
- Collaborate with suppliers and cross functionally to resolve open receipts and unpaid invoices.
- Recommend changes in methods and procedures to improve the efficiency of accounts payable.
- Support three businesses - Seymour, Clovis and CKEC JV.
- Coach or mentor Financial Analysts.
