The U.S. Consumer Services Team is responsible for our suite of consumer products, services, and experiences in the U.S., including our premium, cobrand, cash back, and lending portfolios, Membership Rewards, Global Travel & Lifestyle Services, the Centurion Lounge network, our Global Dining and Resy businesses, and best-in-class marketing programs across customer, prospect, and partner channels. ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Resy Marketing team is responsible for building and activating the Resy brand to drive consideration, demand, and engagement across restaurant, guest and American Express Card Member audiences. The Resy Marketing Strategy and Planning Manager will play a critical role in ensuring that we develop, manage and progress a cohesive marketing strategy and plan across all functional areas of the team. The role will be an integral part of the Resy marketing leadership team and have the opportunity to work across a wide range of strategic, analytical and communications initiatives that advance our business and customer objectives.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Partner across the Resy Marketing team to define, document and communicate strategic priorities and help shape the vision, strategy and roadmap.
- Document annual and quarterly goals for the team, assist with tracking key milestones and performance against goals, and communication with the team on performance on a regular basis.
- Craft presentations and updates for team, senior leaders and internal partners on key business imperatives, priorities and performance.
- Own and manage Resy marketing team budget, enhancing our investment optimization process, ensuring accuracy of reporting, and correct utilization of funds in close partnership with the Restaurant Organization, Finance, and Amex Global Dining office.
- Identify and lead initiatives that improve Resy marketing go-to-market and engagement models within the team and across the broader Resy organization.
- Play a key role in driving the goals of the team, including oversight of key special projects and initiatives.
- Ensure effective flow of information and communications with the team and key Resy Marketing stakeholders.
- Support the Resy Head of Marketing and leadership team management and administration of quarterly/annual processes (goal setting, scorecard management, year-end performance reviews, talent assessments, business planning).
- Build partnerships across the Amex Global Dining Office and key American Express partners, acting as a key interface for business partners.
WHAT YOU HAVE:
- Superior organization and planning skills are essential, detail oriented with ability to think “end-to-end”
- Strong strategic, analytical and intellectual capability combined with creative / innovative thinking

- Results driven with background in marketing
- Excellent oral and written communications with the ability to translate critical thinking into effective presentations
- Excellent communication skills with emphasis on confidence and composure required to effectively communicate with senior leaders
- Excellent project management, organizational and marketing process / workflow skills
- Ability to efficiently prioritize, solve problems independently, escalate appropriately, manage tight deadlines, and handle changing priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Strong sense of integrity with the ability to handle sensitive issues and maintain complete confidentiality
Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
