Technical Business Support Analyst, Billing
Reporting to the VP, Billing Systems you will support the administration and evolution of Morgan Stanley at Work systems and processes with a specific focus on billing systems. Success in this role requires exceptional initiative, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of billing systems and processes. In return, you will get to work with a small, dynamic team and drive improvement across our Billing Operations teams. Strong performing individuals will be supported in further professional development.
Responsibilities
Complete UAT on newly developed billing features and functions.
Document user guides for new and existing billing processes.
Investigate, set up, and test new billing system configurations to solve business problems, and validate their functionality.
Monitor, investigate, and resolve any data sync errors between Zuora Billing and Salesforce.
Test Salesforce quoting functionality associated with billing catalog updates.
Work on special projects and initiatives to assist with analysis, data cleanup, and ad hoc reporting.
Working with internal teams and vendor support, investigate and resolve any billing issues or questions system users are having.
Complete administrative updates into the system such as adding accounting codes, managing user access, etc.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
3-5 years’ experience working on billing systems administration and/or billing process evolution.
Strong understanding of billing system processes and functionality, and the detailed logic within.
Strong understanding of product catalog management, including product definitions and product/offer/charge hierarchy.
Proficiency in documentation, process design, data models, and complex reporting
A willingness to dig into the details to understand issues.
Ability to manage effectively in a high pressure, fast paced and highly collaborative environment.
Self-starter, team oriented, pragmatic, motivated, and goal oriented.
Displays honesty, accuracy, and professionalism when working with team members and stakeholders.
Proven business acumen, candid and courageous.
Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Jira, Zuora Billing, and Salesforce is a plus
