DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented administrative associate to join our service department in Surrey, BC.

This is an ONSITE daytime position.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Answers telephones, screens calls and takes messages so callers/visitors are dealt with promptly, courteously and accurately.
  • Transcribes, type, format and proof reads a variety of material (e.g., correspondence, invoices, contracts, meeting minutes, reports, speeches, and presentations) using word processing, presentation, graphics and spreadsheet software.
  • Coordinates internal and external meetings. This may include scheduling meeting times, making travel arrangements for attendees and ensuring that various meeting amenities are available.
  • Manages the appointments and schedules of staff in the unit.
  • Uses office equipment such as photocopiers, faxes and printers.
  • Performs other administrative tasks according to established guidelines and procedures so these activities are completed accurately and on time.
  • Activities may include distributing incoming mail, preparing outgoing mail, filing, maintaining office supplies or other inventory.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

  • Customer service experience is a must.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
  • Experience with work orders (opening and closing)
  • Able to follow warranty procedures

Working hours are Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
