Consultant / AIX / Linux Platform Specialist

Scope: Full-time | Office: Colombia | Remote
How a day to day would look like in this role:
- Run, configure, and maintain AIX and Linux servers, ensuring their operability and availability.
- Provide support and resolve incidents related to AIX and Linux operating systems.
- Monitor system performance, making adjustments to optimize performance, capacity, and security.
- Implement security policies, access controls, and security patches on AIX and Linux systems.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for system management and recurring tasks.
- Generate and maintain up-to-date documentation on configurations, operational procedures, and user manuals.
- Work closely with other IT departments to ensure the integration and proper functioning of systems.
