We are part of the Enterprise Digital Experimentation & Analytics within the Enterprise Digital and Data Services organization at American Express. Our mission is to leverage data to drive and test actionable insights to propel customer acquisition, engagement, and satisfaction resulting in business growth.
As a Manager, you will serve as a budding subject matter expert on analytics implementation and performance metrics. You will partner with engineering and product partners to enable data capture that supports detailed analysis and drives business growth through data-driven customer insights.
How to make an impact in this role?- Act as the global solution design expert and liaison between engineering, analytics, and the business at an organizational level.
- Capture and prioritize critical business requirements for tracking performance of digital customer journeys.
- Accurately identify which types of variables are needed, including where and how to collect the data.
- Translate business requirements into a technical solution
- Work closely with web development teams to ensure accurate tagging and data layer implementations.
- Train and develop engineering talent to embrace tagging best practices.
- Adobe Certified Analytics Developer
- 5+ years’ experience in digital analytics using Adobe Analytics, with a focus on tag management, implementation, and solution design.
- Experience in web development languages and tools, json, code editor and mobile debugging tools
- Experience in building dashboards, reports, and visualizations to validate data capture and quality.
- Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
- 2+ years as a Solution Architect experienced in leading delivery of analytics implementations
- 2+ years of technical writing to include delivering and maintaining technical documentation.
- Excellent critical thinking skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify issues, tackle problems quickly.
- Ability to maintain focus and efficiency in uncertain situations with a diverse group of colleagues and internal partners.
- SQL and/or HIVE programming skill is a plus.
Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
