DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Service Supervisor to join our team specializing in Service in Downey, CA.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Efficient Scheduling : By coordinating and scheduling Technician work schedules, you’ll ensure optimal use of resources and timely completion of repairs.
- Clear Communication : Communicating repair plans aligned with customer quotes will help maintain transparency and set clear expectations for both Technicians and customers.
- Performance Enhancement : Providing coaching, feedback, and performance reviews will foster professional growth and improve the overall productivity and quality of the service team.
- Technical Support : Offering first-level support and escalating issues when necessary will ensure that Technicians have the assistance they need to resolve complex problems efficiently.
- Logistics Management : Managing service logistics, including materials, equipment, and personnel, will ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient operations.
- Accurate Quoting : Developing and reviewing quotes for accuracy will help maintain customer trust and satisfaction by providing reliable and transparent pricing.
- Continuous Improvement : Participating in continuous improvement activities will help adapt processes to meet evolving customer expectations and organizational goals.
- Customer Relationship Building : Resolving customer concerns and developing strong relationships through professional communication will enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
- Knowledge of Diesel and/or Nat Gas engines
- Previous experience working in a shop service environment
- Previous experience ‘scheduling and managing’ service personnel
- Knowledge of Cummins Warranty/Policy
- Experience with estimating/quoting
- Computer literate
- Knowledge of Cummins QSOL
- Customer Service experience
- Flexible Work Hours
QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
- College, university, or equivalent degree in a relevant discipline or relevant experience equivalent required.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
- Intermediate level of relevant work experience in a technical field, including team leadership experience, required.
