KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
- Define, execute, verify and document test plan, use cases and results.
- Manage and report issues from the various test phases.
- Seek to clarify and clearly communicate issues or problems.
- Work as part of a project team, escalating critical / urgent issues to business analysts/project managers.
- Participate in the pre / post deployment tests.
- Adhere to standards set by the Invesco project methodology.
- Automated testing using Selenium and Java
- Walk through test results with business clients and core project team members.
WORK EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE:
- Overall Experience – 5-7 yrs.
- Experience in automation tools like selenium/ Appium/ Cypress with languages.
- Should have experience in writing automation frameworks.
- Good to have knowledge of Java/c#, Python.
- Good to have have experience in writing automation frameworks.
- Experience in Agile needed
- Good to have knowledge of Browser Stack, Accessibility testing, performance testing using tools like Jmeter
- Experience in API testing using postman.
- Good to have investment banking knowledge.
- Execute test cases and manage defects in defect tracking tools like JIRA.
- Experience in testing web application and mobile application
- Working knowledge of Functional, GUI, Regression and Responsive testing
- Strong Knowledge of QA procedure, principles, and methodology
- Experience in Integrating the automation test suite in CI/CD pipelines.
SPECIALIZED SKILLS:
- Strong analytical and organizational skills a must
- A forward-thinking mindset with strong interest in quality assurance
- Curiosity and persistence to dig deeper with a “test to break” attitude.
- Possess the ability to find problems.
- Judgment skills are needed to assess high-risk areas to focus testing efforts when time is limited.
- Required patience, tact and diplomacy to maintain a cooperative relationship with the other teams (e.g. developers, analysts/project managers/business clients, etc.)
- Ability to provide honest feedback on the quality of the web user experience and the work of the Design & Development Teams
- Strong interest in understanding the business requirements and focus on ensuring the application is delivering what the business needs.
- Strong computer / MS Office technical skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
