DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Country Leade r to join our team focusing on General Management for Functional Support in Dublin, Ireland.

In this role you will oversee daily operations for the Ireland region, ensuring that all business functions are running smoothly and meeting financial and operational goals. Your leadership will be pivotal in maintaining high standards and improving processes.

Responsibilities Include:

• Creating brand identity through cohesion of various departments.
• Supporting the UK leadership team with strategic initiatives.
• Supporting growth in Engines and PowerGen business through a collaborative approach.
• Assisting in managing accounting responsibilities and local facilities.
• Communicating DBU Europe goals and progress in monthly employee meetings.
• Contributing to business plans based on strategic goals set by leadership.
• Supporting operational improvements and cost reduction initiatives.
• Implementing operating policies and procedures across functional areas.
• Assisting in resolving cross-functional challenges.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Qualifications and Competencies:

• Strong strategic planning skills to develop and implement a territory-wide plan, translating long-term goals into actionable short-term business objectives for growth and market penetration.
• Excellent leadership and people management abilities, especially in selecting, developing, and managing dealers in Ireland, while also engaging with the UK leadership team and cross-functional departments.
• Deep understanding of supply chain management, including procurement, storage, distribution, and facility management.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience:

• College, university, or equivalent degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related subject.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification or Sponsor certification required.
