Job Description:
The US Consumer Marketing Acquisition Finance team provides decision support to the Marketing organization through evaluation and prioritization of new prospect, existing customer and digital investments. This funding allocation decision on one of the company’s largest investment pools is among the most critical enterprise choices that determines the growth trajectory and financial outcomes for the Consumer business.
The manager position is part of the team responsible for owning the lifetime Card Member Value framework (CMV) refreshes, a key driver of investment decisions. This is an excellent opportunity to gain deep knowledge of the Consumer business model and world class cardmember acquisition. This is a highly visible role with exposure to senior management across business and finance teams. The successful candidate will have a strategic and analytical mindset, has a record of building and improving financial processes, and can operate in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Work closely with critical stakeholders to assess and refresh CMVs, with components including key financial assumptions and behavioral inputs.
- Enhance end-to-end CMV update process, deepen segmentation granularity and drive meaningful differentiation in further refining assumptions.
- Drive continued automation efforts and process enhancements to current workstreams by leveraging new capabilities.
- Independently lead projects by conducting analyses on business cases, past portfolio performances, assessing channel profitability, product refreshes, as well as various other ad hoc decision support needs.
- Leverage CMV models to evaluate investments and provide clear, effective communication on funding decisioning across Finance, Product, and Marketing.
- Develop presentations and provide insights for senior leaders and marketing business partners.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated excellent strategic thought leadership skills and creativity, as well as strong financial and analytical skills..
- Solid understanding of financial statements, discounted equity cash flow valuation and card economics
- High level of comfortability with card P&Ls, with a focus on key drivers of revenues and expenses within the Consumer business.
- Ability to create and maintain financial and economic models.
- Highly motivated individual with desire to work on ambiguous projects and the ability to break down complex ideas into understandable and actionable messages.
- Ability to balance attention to detail and accuracy with tight deadlines.
- Ability to build relationships with business partners by influencing decisions with sound logic and analytics.
- Ease with complex data sets, including advanced excel and TM1.

Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
