DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Territory Sales-Field Sales Account Executive to join our team specializing in aftermarket within Cummins Meritor in US.
Job Summary:
Prospects and develops new opportunities to grow the business. Independently develops/executes account plans to build customer relationships and achieve sales goals within the assigned sales territory, market segment or channel partners.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Increase sales by identifying, researching, and contacting prospective customers.
- Execute account plans and conduct face-to-face sales calls with top prospects.
- Develop and strengthen customer relationships to understand their needs and buying processes.
- Identify and offer Cummins solutions based on customer needs and priorities.
- Negotiate terms and assist with accounts receivables to maintain acceptable past due accounts.
- Drive sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction through effective collaboration.
- Respond to customer concerns promptly and maintain accurate sales forecasts.
- Mentor less experienced account executives and balance inventory, service, and delivery capabilities with customer expectations.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
Required: College, university, or equivalent degree in Marketing, Sales or a related subject, or acceptable sales related work experience, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Intermediate level of relevant work experience required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- This is a hybrid position however the candidate will be required to work from home and not in a Cummins office/location.
- This position will be supporting the legacy Meritor/Euclid components.
Cummins Meritor: Our core business in the aftermarket focuses on air brakes, drive axles, and drivelines. As a salesperson, you will spend 95% of your time in the field, engaging directly with clients. We are seeking candidates with experience in these areas, as it will not only benefit our team but also provide significant growth opportunities for the candidate:
- Air Brake (including Air Disc Brake)
- Brake friction material
- Driveline (yokes, u joints, tubing)
- Drive Axle (gearing, axle housings, carriers)
- Front Axle (steering components like tie rods, king pins, etc…)
- Suspension (hanger assemblies, bushings, air springs, shocks, etc…)
- Wheel end (wheel studs, wheel nuts, hub nuts, hub caps)
- Tire Inflation
