DESCRIPTION
Performs non production activities which support the manufacturing processes in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
Utilizes Meritor systems to process customer core return credits from inspection, product, and
warranty returns
Interfaces with Core Manager and Core Inspectors, Plainfield Operations departments,
Florence Pricing, Marketing, Sales, Shared Services, Specifications, and Operations groups, as
well as external customers, to ensure prompt and efficient core crediting
Serve as point of contact at Meritor customers through use of the Meritor Core mailbox and
phone systems
Assist Meritor internal and external customers with customer core account research and issue
reconciliation through transactional and financial analysis
Assist Core Manager with MCO activities, including maintenance, reporting, and UAT (user
acceptance testing)
Is responsible to work and maintain a healthy and safe work environment and to make oral or
written suggestions to achieve this goal
Working as part of a team as well as independently, with minimal supervision
Other administrative duties as required, including but not limited to:
Set up and manage paper or electronic filing systems, recording information, updating
paperwork, or maintaining documents, such as core records, correspondence, or other
material
Prepare core reports, memos, letters, financial statements, and other documents, using
Meritor systems and Microsoft Office suite
Perform general office duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Good communication skills (written/oral)
Experience in systems including AS400 and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint,
Teams)
Previous experience in data entry and customer service preferred
The Plainfield facility has the right to deem a person qualified for a position if that person has
