DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Team Leader - Level IV to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Fletcher, NC.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Coordinating Team Activities : By effectively managing a group of employees, you'll ensure production specifications, schedules, volume, cost, and quality standards are met.
- Promoting Health and Safety : By stopping work to report major hazards and complying with HSE standards, you'll contribute to a safer workplace and promote a culture of interdependence.
- Ensuring Quality : Following standard work procedures and performing quality inspections will help minimize costs and control non-conforming materials, ensuring high-quality output.
- Optimizing Delivery : Monitoring team performance and addressing issues like equipment faults and parts shortages will help meet production and delivery schedules efficiently.
- Facilitating Communication : Coordinating activities between shifts, team leaders, and other departments will ensure smooth operations and effective problem-solving.
- Supporting Continuous Improvement : Assisting management in organizing headcount and overtime needs, and focusing on continuous improvement, will enhance overall productivity.
- Training and Mentoring : Ensuring on-the-job training and mentoring less experienced team members will build a skilled and knowledgeable workforce.
- Engaging in Teamwork : Communicating effectively with your team and participating in initiatives to improve quality, safety, and processes will foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
