We're seeking someone to join our team as a Data Steward to execute our Data Cataloguing and Data Lifecycle Management initiatives in Human Capital Management (HCM). #LI-DA1
In the Human Resources division, we provide advice and insight to attract, retain, reward and develop a talented global workforce, giving employees the support and tools, they need to succeed. This is a position within the Data Governance Team that will be responsible for driving data governance initiatives across HR and ensuring critical business processes adhere to regulatory and firm-wide governance policies.

What you'll do in the role:
- Support a process to catalog data into standard terminology using data taxonomy principles.
- Ensure accurate classification of data elements in support of Information Security Policies.
- Serve as a liaison between business and technology to ensure that data related business requirements are clearly defined, communicated, prioritized, and actioned.
- Work with senior domain owners and manage global stakeholder relationships.
- Assess large datasets and present recommendations to improve data governance processes in line with the Global Data Policy.
- Develop materials for senior level stakeholder forums and communications.
- Establish data lineage to track the flow and transformation of data across platforms.
- Execute the annual data lifecycle management initiatives with business and technology stakeholders.
What you'll bring to the role:
- At least four years of experience in risk and controls; working for a multi-national firm and data governance experience is a plus.
- A confident communicator (strong written and verbal English); a self-starter
- Problem solving attitude with solid sense of accountability and sound personal judgement.
- Results-oriented/execution-focused leadership; proactively anticipating needs and prioritizing action steps.
- An ability to act independently and take direction, as appropriate.
- Bachelor's Degree is required.
- Working knowledge of Human Resources Data and Personal Identifiable Information (PII) data is a plus.
