The Team: 

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer insight intern to join our team. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in customer research and analysis, contributing to projects that enhance our understanding of customer preferences and behaviors. The ideal candidate will have a passion for research, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate findings effectively. 
 

Responsibilities and Impact: 

  • Conduct Research: Assist in gathering qualitative and quantitative data through surveys, interviews, and focus groups to understand customer needs and experiences. 

  • Data Analysis: Analyze collected data using statistical tools and software to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions. 

  • Report Preparation: Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing research findings, including actionable recommendations for improving customer experience. 

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to share insights and support strategic initiatives. 

  • Maintain Documentation: Organize and maintain research documentation, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for future reference. 

  • Support Projects: Assist in various customer research projects as assigned by the supervisor, contributing to the overall success of the team. 

  • Content Creation: Develop internal communications materials, including newsletters, presentations, and reports to keep staff informed about changes and updates. 

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Assist in identifying key stakeholders and help in crafting tailored messages to address their concerns and expectations. 

  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research on best practices in change management and communication strategies to support ongoing projects. 

  • Event Coordination: Help plan and organize workshops or training sessions related to OCM initiatives. 

  • Feedback Collection: Create and distribute surveys to gather employee feedback on communication effectiveness and change processes. 

  • Content Creation: Develop internal communications materials, including newsletters, presentations, and reports to keep staff informed about changes and updates. 

     

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates) 

 S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $25 to $30. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications. 

 

This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan. 

 

What We’re Looking For

 

Basic Required Qualifications: 

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field; with an anticipated graduation date in Fall 2025 or Spring 2026

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS, or similar). 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly. 

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 

  • Familiarity with customer research methodologies is a plus. 

  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
