DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities:
Managerial Duties (30%) :
- Manage a team of 6-7 planners.
- Coordinate with internal and external supplier bases and stakeholders across various functions.
- Process and monitor orders against suppliers.
- Work towards meeting the supply plan.
- Monitor and adjust procurement signals and expedite as necessary.
- Perform metrics analysis and reporting.
- Experience in Xelus, GOMS, and aftermarket material planning.
General Planning and Operations (70%) :
- Develop planning system strategies to improve signals across the supply chain.
- Monitor and adjust parameters in the planning system.
- Use common processes, tools, and information systems.
- Analyze and interpret Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and action plans.
- Execute the daily operational planning process within a specified functional area.
- Identify potential supply chain failures as part of the planning process and mitigate associated risks.
- Work closely with stakeholders to develop short-term tactical improvements.
- Use the planning system to drive consistent planning signals across the supply chain.
- Participate in functional process improvement teams.

- Part Change Control Management : Evaluating and implementing engineering change requests to meet customer delivery requirements while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
- Plan for Every Part (PFEP) : Using PFEP principles to ensure delivery of the right part at the right time in the right quantity to the right place.
- Master Supply Scheduling : Establishing and maintaining a valid Master Production Schedule for a family of products.
- Material Planning : Using advanced tools to make decisions related to parts availability, inventory optimization, and root cause analysis.
- Materials KPI Management : Operating in relation to recent or historical outputs to determine next steps to drive improvement.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
- College, university, or equivalent degree required.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
- Minimal to intermediate level of experience required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- This role requires support in the US time zone, operating in the night shift (5 PM to 2 AM IST).
- Night shift allowance and pickup/drop facilities (within PMC & PCMC jurisdiction) are provided.
Experience Required :
- Oversee material planning and inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Lead and manage a team for effective operations, with a minimum of 2 years of team handling experience.
- Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Maintain safety stock levels to prevent supply disruptions.
- Coordinate with global suppliers to ensure timely material delivery to the warehouse.
- Manage the procurement process, including sourcing materials from the plant.
- Require a minimum of 8 to 9 years of experience in supply chain management.
