What you will do

Financial & Accounting analyst is responsible for supporting the overall local financial organization, providing controllership and business support, and validating the reasonability of the financial statements for a specific period. One of the primary responsibilities is to identify and anticipate any accounting inconsistency that might affect financial performance of the company; identify opportunities for improvement in the long term, working with key stakeholders to develop best financial strategies, formulate and execute business plans. Ensure income and profitability is maximized, in line with Corporate policies and procedures.

  • Financial Statements Validation: Monitor and validate financial statements during monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing processes, ensuring alignment with Local and US GAAP.

  • Profit & Loss Analysis: Conduct P&L and Balance Sheet analysis, including Functional Expenses and other lines, comparing against budgets and explaining variances.

  • Fixed Assets Management: Oversee and manage fixed assets, ensuring proper accounting and compliance.

  • Account Reclassification: Validate account mappings and evaluate potential reclassifications during financial closing processes.

  • Budget Support: Collaborate with FP&A, providing support during the budgeting process and related financial planning activities.

  • Tax & Audit Support: Serve as the main contact for external consultants, lead audits (internal and external), and address any follow-up questions or adjustments.

  • Foreign Transactions Management: Coordinate and monitor foreign transactions, including intercompany and third-party payments, ensuring compliance with local Central Bank regulations.

  • Cash Flow Projections: Prepare and share cash flow projections based on trends and sales forecasts with FP&A and Regional Treasury monthly.

        

What you will need

Required:

  • BS/BA degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent education.

  • 5+ years experience in finance / accounting areas

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential

  • Proficiency with accounting software packages

  • Experience on local foreign exchange regulations and capital controls

  • Experienced in consolidation and reporting, knowledge of accounting SOX controls / US GAAPs

Preferred:

  • Intermediate English level

  • Medical devices or pharmaceutical experience preferred

  • Experience with SAP / JDE / Hyperion (HFM)
