DESCRIPTION

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Ensuring Safety Compliance : By stopping work and reporting hazards immediately, you’ll help maintain a safe working environment and prevent injuries.

Optimizing Production : Monitoring team performance and assigning tasks effectively will ensure production targets for volume, cost, and quality are met.

Supporting Continuous Improvement : Assisting in organizing training and mentoring team members will promote continuous improvement and skill development.

Responding to Issues : Acting as the first responder to equipment faults and quality issues will minimize downtime and maintain production flow.

Enhancing Teamwork : Effective communication and active participation in improvement initiatives will strengthen team collaboration and overall performance.

Education, Licenses, Certifications: 

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. 

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. 

Experience: 

Prefer significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Additional Information:

Keeps safety at the forefront, ensuring that operators are working safely and that processes are being followed.

Leads by example with integrity and honesty.

Takes initiative to do what is right, to raise concerns, and communicates effectively for continuous process improvement.

Plans and coordinates work.

Ensures proper rotations for ergo are being followed.

Trains employees and holds them accountable for working safely, with proper PPE, and following standard work.

Ensures that parts are salvaged in a quality manner.

Keeps accurate and timely data on takt boards to include downtime, maintenance tasks, scrap, ergo rotations, and gaps for future problem solving

Collaborates with different team members and functions to achieve shared goals.

 Implements and maintains 5s standards.

 Escalates issues. 

 Prior experience in remanufacturing of small parts is highly desired.

 Cover for absenteeism where needed within the team, group, or department.

 Willingness to work overtime as necessary.

This is a first shift position, however, willingness to work other shifts is highly desired.
