This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive market growth, inspire high-performing teams, and shape the future of healthcare – all while managing full P&L responsibility for the business unit.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Business Unit Manager, you will:

  • Develop and implement both short- and long-term strategies to achieve business growth and profitability.

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Regional Sales Managers, Sales Representatives, Program Managers, and Product Managers.

  • Meet or exceed annual revenue and operating income targets.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to grow market share and strengthen Stryker’s reputation.

  • Foster a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and engagement while supporting the professional growth of team members.

  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and ensure alignment with regional and European strategies.

  • Collaborate across divisions and with enabling functions to deliver innovative, customer-focused solutions.

Location: Any main cities in Northern Europe. Including Amsterdam, Brussels, Oslo, Stockholm, Copenhagen.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • A degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a commercial leadership role, such as Business Unit Leader or Regional Sales Manager, preferably within the medical device industry.

  • Experience in direct sales and strong knowledge of the medical device market, including key products and competitors.

  • A proven track record of delivering market share growth and achieving financial performance targets.

  • Strong leadership skills with demonstrated success in building and managing high-performing teams.

  • Financial acumen, including experience managing P&L.

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience developing and executing marketing plans across multiple markets.

  • Expertise in change management and fostering team engagement.

  • Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Office and familiarity with performance management systems.
