Roles and Responsibilities

The Prime Brokerage Strategist Team is part of the Institutional Equities Division. The team works with Core Prime Brokerage, Delta One Swap Desk and Stock Loan Desk covering the Asia region and the role is responsible for:

·       Development of reporting/analytics for risk and pricing

·       Analysis of inventory efficiency

·       Analytics/ad-hoc development in support of new products

·       Development/enhancement of strat tools created for Sales/Trading

·       Collaborating with other divisions within the organization (IT, Operations, Controllers) to improve desk work flow/efficiency/risk controls

Development of quick time-to-market technical enhancements to trading flows to meet near term trader, client, risk, or regulatory requirements

Qualifications and Skills

·       Bachelor's degree, Master's or PhD candidates

·       Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Financial Math, and Engineering or a related quantitative field

·       Knowledge of coding languages such as Python, Q/KDB+, R, SQL, or VBA, C++, or Java is a strong advantage

·       Knowledge of optimal trade execution, order management and market microstructure is an advantage

·       You have strong verbal and written communication skills

·       You enjoy solving complex problems that require deep analytical reasoning and quantitative analysis

·       You are collaborative, a quick learner, a team player, adaptable, versatile, a multi-tasker and possess a strong work ethic
