The Role: Account Manager – Non-financial Corporates

The Location: Seoul, South Korea

The Team: We are a dynamic & energetic team comprised of experienced professionals from across the data provider industry all working together to achieve our revenue goals. We value team work so being a team player is crucial for the success in our organization

The Impact: Help grow our business in Non-financial Corporates and managing the existing book(renewal & upsells) and identifying/supporting new business opportunities

Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed annual new sales and recurring revenue growth targets, and maintain a robust sales pipeline & reporting
  • Identify new business opportunities and manage the book of business
  • Develop and nurture deep and strong relationships with client organizations, addressing their needs, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Expand relationships within the existing client base in order to identify new opportunities and/or achieve revenue growth
  • Develop an exceptional understanding of, and stay current on, the S&P Global Market Intelligence products and functionality and their application to specific job functions
  • Contribute to the business strategy through a deep understanding of and keeping up to date with key industry news and events involving clients and prospects alike, macro/ market trends / regulations impacting local markets and keeping abreast of our competitive landscape

What We’re Looking For:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset; demonstrates drive, initiative, and energy
  • Strong demonstration of teamwork, collaboration, and camaraderie, working with colleagues and internal senior stakeholders across different departments/divisions globally
  • Ability to articulate ideas and complex information in a clear and structured manner

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 5-8 years of work experience in a client facing or analytical role or information services industry(same industry as S&P Global Market Intelligence)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Korean and English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong network within major key players in Korean large corporates
  • Knowledge and understanding of different workflows including corporates development, M&A, business planning, offshore investments, quant investments in Korea
