In this role, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations in accounting, account receivables, internal controls and financial analysis. The position will help to establish proper internal controls, implement accounting policies for accounting and controlling, and perform financial analysis for business needs.
What You Will Do:
Main responsibilities are but not limited to:
Cash Management and Credit Control:
• Handle Accounts Receivable process
• Manage AR statement, Sales Invoice and Credit control process
• AR ageing and DSO review and analysis
• Ensure daily banking and operations requirements are fulfilled
Controlling:
• Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the different accounting processes, including RTR, PTP and OTC, and general ledger structure
• Handle Accounts Payable process
• Master T&E policies and procedures, be a Subject Matter Expert and improve the related process
• Support internal & external statutory/policy requirements, including audit, tax, insurance, transfer pricing, treasury, DOA, contract review, etc.
• Support pricing set up, master data review, and review price variance
• Support ad-hoc request from Regional and Corporate Finance, if necessary
Internal Controls:
• Support process narratives and RCM (Rick Control Matrix) update according to policies
• Support the review and monitoring of annual stock take implementation according to policies
• Support FICM (Finance Indirect Channel Management) monitoring on a regular basis
• Support the review and assessment on new policy implementation. Able to perform the assessment independently for those that are less complex.
• Provide training to employees and help to resolve issues on processes
Financial Analysis / Project Management:
• Support projects (e.g., process improvement, system implementation and integration) planning and implementation
• Support cost analysis, trending and forecasting, margin analysis, etc.
• Prepare dashboard / financial reporting independently
• Support budget and forecasting activities, when necessary
What You Need:
- 3-5 years in Finance or Accounting
- University degree and Professional Accounting Qualification (CPA and Chartered Accountant)
- Any industry – Controlling experience preferred
- Project & Process Management expertise
- Risk Management and Internal Control Experience
- Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English and Cantonese
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail is critical
- Willingness to learn and can-do attitude
