What you will do:
- Develop and update CAD models and technical drawings.
- Collaborate closely with New Product Development (NPD) teams, including participation in drawing reviews.
- Review and manage Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Take ownership of ECR/ECN execution for legacy products.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support Power BI dashboards.
- Act as the global point of contact, independently managing customer communications.
- Prioritize tasks and manage projects effectively, aligning with timelines and available resources.
What you need:
Required-
- Bachelor's or master’s in mechanical engineering
- Experience - 7 years to 9 years
- Strong proficiency in applying GD&T standards (ISO and ASME) within CAD environments; Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools, such as PTC Windchill
- Solid understanding of medical device manufacturing processes, preferably in orthopaedics.
- Hands-on experience in executing product changes via ECRs/ECNs; design control processes and Design History File (DHF) documentation.
Preferred-
- Good knowledge with design control processes and Design History File (DHF) documentation.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps); Exposure to requirements management tools like Jama.
- Experience with 3D CAD software, especially Creo from PTC.
