We’re seeking someone to join our WM Technology team as a Software Quality Engineer (SDET), in WM Product Technology to join a technologically advanced team, focusing on innovation and building out the strategic Trading Platform. Work on QA processes for Trading workstream(s) with heavy focus on execution of automation across the Trading Domains dealing with various automation tools and techniques. You will work as part of an Agile squad and interact with other squad members as well as external stakeholders including business and technology partners (local as well as global) across Wealth Management, infrastructure team, architecture team to deliver the objectives.

This is Associate/Director position that devises test strategies, conducts and/or coordinates tests, and identifies defects to maintain high standards of performance and reliability.

What you’ll do in the role:
Work as a part of Fleet on QA processes with heavy focus on development of automation with various automation tools and techniques
Develop and enhance Automation Frameworks and automate testcases to ensure comprehensive coverage.
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate test and automation activities
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
Track test metrics, such as test coverage, defect densities and open defect counts
Perform thorough manual testing where automation of testing is not possible
Stay up to date with new testing approaches, tools and test strategies
Employ coding and testing for CI/CD and DevOps
Work in the Agile development methodologies, collaborating with business and technology teams located globally
Actively contribute and participate in sprint grooming and planning discussions, daily stand-ups, and Agile ceremonies
What you’ll bring to the role:
Skills Required:
4-8 years of hands-on experience in QA with an emphasis on QA automation
Experience testing financial trading applications (Advisory/Equity/Fixed Income/Mutual fund) is required.
Experience in Agile testing methodology (Scrum/Kanban) is required.
Hands-on experience on QA Automation tools (Selenium/Playwright, TestNG, Typescript/Java, Gradle/Maven)
Working knowledge of Test management software (ALM, Jira Xray)
Proficiency in usage of SQL queries for databases or large datasets
Hands on experience of working with continues integration tools such Jenkins/Teamcity
Able to independently create and maintain automation test jobs using tools such as Teamcity/Jenkins.
Hands on experience working with source code management tools such as GitLab/GitHub
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills
Working experience of Agile development methodologies and of DevOps integration
Exposure to JIRA or other ALM tools to create a productive, high-quality development
Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Skills Desired:
Experience of automated testing with public Cloud (Azure or AWS)
Ability to develop proof of concepts/prototypes in the new areas of development
