What you can expect
We are looking to add a Sales Leader to our State, Local and Education team. As a Leader, you are responsible for managing a team of quota carrying sales representatives focused on direct sales within State & Local government agencies as well as Educational Institutions across the Great Lakes Region. You will collaborate to define strategy and overall business planning for accounts that fall within this sector. You will provide feedback, coaching and training, ensuring team quota attainment, driving activity levels, and implementing process efficiency changes to drive maximum productivity. You are responsible for both new customer acquisition efforts as well as up-sell and cross-sell efforts into existing Zoom relationships.
About the Team
As part of Zoom’s SLED Sales team, you will expand our presence across the Great Lakes territory (Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, and West Virginia). You will partner with product specialists and channel organizations to deliver tailored UCaaS, Voice, and Contact Center solutions.
You will collaborate with a supportive team committed to driving growth in Government and Education.
Responsibilities:
Meeting or exceeding sales and product objectives
Managing a team of Account Executives to effectively qualify leads and identify prospect needs, engaging technical resources as required
Conducting high-level conversations with C-Level and VP -Level Executives to address business needs
Utilizing solution-selling techniques to effectively guide sales process to close
Developing and maintaining business within existing accounts, complex sales situations and sales campaigns
Upselling and leveraging business from new and established customer relationships
Utilizing CRM solution to provide timely and accurate sales activity tracking and status updates
Working strategically with management to deliver forecasts, identify trending opportunities/challenges, and provide recommended solutions
Forecasting sales activity and revenue achievement while creating satisfied customers
Resolving client issues in a timely and thorough manner
Keeping informed of product line, competition and industry trends that may impact client business activities
What we’re looking for:
8+ years’ experience in software or technology sales with specific expertise into SLED. 2+ years’ experience leading and managing a sales team. Experience in a highly transactional sales environment. Experience within UCaaS, Collaboration and SaaS is highly desired.
Proven track record of building and developing highly effective sales talent.
Proven partner and liaison with all levels and departments within an organization.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:
Minimum:
$174,500.00Maximum:
$389,400.00In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.
Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
